they must provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant authority in any country in which they have been present for 12 months or more (whether continuously or in total) in the past 10 down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]Skilled workers can bring their family members (partner and children) to the UK and can apply to settle in the UK after 5 years\u2019 continuous lawful residence.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;10&#8243; down=&#8221;10&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Visa conditions<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;5&#8243; down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]The visa will be subject to all of the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>no access to public funds<\/li>\n<li>work is permitted only in the job the applicant is being sponsored for<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/skilled-worker-visa\/second-job\"><strong>supplementary employment<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is permitted, providing the person continues to work in the job for which they are being sponsored<\/li>\n<li>voluntary work is permitted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Skilled Worker Visa is a sponsored route into the UK and individuals holding this visa
