These students choose to study in the United Kingdom because of the high quality of education offered there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Graduate visa in the United Kingdom enables international degree holders to stay in the country for a period of two years (or three for doctoral students), during which time they are permitted to work or look for employment at any level of skill.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since the Graduate Visa application is an unsponsored route, it is not necessary to have a work offer in order to submit it. In the United Kingdom, you will have the flexibility to follow any one of a number of different career tracks, as well as to switch jobs as the situation demands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;5&#8243; down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]A Graduate visa allows to stay in the UK for at least 2 years after successfully completing a course in the UK.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;10&#8243; down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]You must be in the UK when you apply.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;10&#8243; down=&#8221;10&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;5&#8243; down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]You can apply for a Graduate visa if all of the following applies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>you\u2019re in the UK<\/li>\n<li>your current visa is a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/student-visa\">Student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa<\/a><\/li>\n<li>you studied a UK bachelor\u2019s degree, postgraduate degree or other eligible course for a minimum period of time with your Student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa<\/li>\n<li>your education provider (such as your university or college) has told the Home Office you\u2019ve successfully completed your course<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;10&#8243; down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]You can ask your education provider if you\u2019re not sure whether they\u2019ve told the Home Office you\u2019ve successfully completed your course.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;10&#8243; down=&#8221;10&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><strong>How long you can stay<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;5&#8243; down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]A Graduate visa is granted for 2 years. If you have a PHD or other doctoral qualification, it is granted for 3 years.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;10&#8243; down=&#8221;10&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><strong>If you want to stay longer in the UK<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;5&#8243; down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]You cannot extend your Graduate visa. However, you may be able to switch to a different visa, for example a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/skilled-worker-visa\"><strong>Skilled Worker visa<\/strong><\/a>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;10&#8243; down=&#8221;10&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Partner and Child <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;5&#8243; down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/graduate-visa\/your-partner-and-children\"><strong>Your partner and children<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0can also apply to stay in the UK if they are eligible.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;10&#8243; down=&#8221;10&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><strong>When to apply<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;5&#8243; down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]You must apply before your Student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa expires.<\/p>\n<p>You can apply after your education provider (such as your university or college) has told the Home Office that you\u2019ve successfully completed the course you took with your Student or Tier 4 (General) student visa. You do not have to wait until you\u2019ve graduated or have been given a certificate.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;10&#8243; down=&#8221;10&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Getting a decision<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;5&#8243; down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]Once you\u2019ve applied and have proved identity and provided your documents, you\u2019ll usually get a decision on your visa within 8 weeks.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;10&#8243; down=&#8221;10&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><strong>How much it costs<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;5&#8243; down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]When you apply for a Graduate visa, you\u2019ll need to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>pay the \u00a3715 application fee<\/li>\n<li>pay the healthcare surcharge &#8211; this is usually \u00a3624 for each year you\u2019ll be in the UK<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;10&#8243; down=&#8221;10&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><strong>What you can and cannot do<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=&#8221;transparent&#8221; up=&#8221;5&#8243; down=&#8221;5&#8243;][vc_column_text]With a Graduate visa you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>work in most jobs<\/li>\n<li>look for work<\/li>\n<li>be self-employed<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/graduate-visa\/your-partner-and-children\">continue living in the UK with your partner and children<\/a>, if they\u2019re eligible<\/li>\n<li>do voluntary work<\/li>\n<li>travel abroad and return to the UK<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You cannot:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>apply for most benefits (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/public-funds--2\">public funds<\/a>), or the State Pension<\/li>\n<li>work as a professional sportsperson<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You may need an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/academic-technology-approval-scheme\">Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) certificate<\/a>\u00a0if you are studying or researching sensitive
